Yoga for Folks with Chronic Pain

Online classes currently are chair based and include a reclined portion which can be done well supported on the floor or on your bed. Primarily a class to reduce your challenges with pain it is also ideal for anyone looking for an afternoon gentle yoga practice.

Prerequisite for Yoga for Chronic Pain:

This class is designed for individuals living with chronic pain. The pain experience is unique for everyone and everyone has a different level of ability and comfort when it comes to daily activities including breath and movement. It is for this reason that we have established a prerequisite one-on-one session for individuals interested in signing up for this course. This 60 minute assessment will allow us to assess and address your specific needs, and determine if you would be best served by taking Yoga for Chronic Pain or if an alternate course of action would be more appropriate.*

*This class has worked well for folks starting yoga for the first time, as well as seasoned practitioners with chronic pain. To help get the ball rolling some individuals benefit from a series of private yoga therapy sessions (online or in person) prior to attending the weekly class.
